Camps

Our Summer Camps are designed for the Beginning - Intermediate dancers & non-dancers, ages 3-12, looking to take a FUN approach to learning new dance skills! Along with 3-5 dance classes per day, we play fun games, do arts & crafts, and make having a good time the number one priority! We will also be offering Before & After Care for our camps.

Cancellation Policy: A 25% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WILL BE DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. If you need to cancel your enrollment before the 75% remainder has been charged, the 25% non-refundable deposit will be issued as a studio credit to your account. ONLINE REGISTRATIONS after June 5th will be charged the full tuition for camp. If you need to cancel after you have already paid full total of camp, the 75% remainder can be refunded back to your credit card and the 25% deposit will be issued as a credit to your studio account. In the event that you do need to cancel, we ask that you please notify us at least 1 week before your camp due to limited camp sizes and waitlisted students. If you need to switch dates please let us know and we can make the switch on our end as long as the camp you are switching to is not full

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CAMP!

Campers will be split up into groups based on their age. They will remain in these groups and rotate classes with each other for the entire week!

Each group will be taking 4-5 dance classes per day in all different styles of dance including, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Tap & Acro!

Campers will need to bring their own snacks, lunch, and refillable water bottle each day. We take 1 mid morning snack break, and 1 lunch break. We have a refrigerator and microwave if needed. We provide a pizza lunch on the last day of camp.

Dancing all day can be draining so we like to throw in some fun activities throughout the day! Whether it's games, an outdoor activity, or an arts & crafts project!

All students will receive a complimentary Melodic Remedy camp T-Shirt!

We will end the week with an awesome showcase! The campers will get to perform everything they' learned throughout the week! We will record and edit the showcase and send out a video link the following week.

Summer Camp FAQ's

Can I request my child be put into the same group as their friends?
Yes! As we get closer to your camp dates, we will send out a form for you to make any special camp requests. Please note, they must be close in age to be placed in the same group.

Does my child need special dance shoes or attire?
Dance shoes are NOT required. Campers can participate in classes wearing their sneakers, socks, barefoot or dance shoes (if they have them). As for attire, we recommend any type of active wear they can comfortably move in! We do not recommend wearing dresses or jeans.

Can I sign my child up for Before or After Care the day of?
Yes, depending on availability, we may be able to accommodate a same day request. Just give us a call before camp starts that day to see if it's possible!

What is the typical teacher/child ratio?
We have 2-3 Camp Counselors for each group (depending on group size), in addition to their teacher for each class. We are still keeping camp capacities low, so there will be anywhere from 5-15 kids in each group, depending on camp enrollment.

What will the daily schedule be like?
The schedules below are just examples - They are not the exact set schedules
