Let us help find your correct class level
We know it can be difficult navigating which class & level is best suitable for your dancer, especially if you're new to our studio! There are many things to take into consideration when figuring out where your dancer belongs...
1. We recommend figuring out the styles of dance your child (or you!) may be interested in. You can read a description of each style here.
2. After you have an idea of which styles your dancer will enjoy, we will need to determine their level! If your dancer has no experience in that specific dance style, they will need to start in our Level I classes. If your dancer has previous experience, this is where you can use our LEVEL FINDER to help guide you in the right direction. *If your dancer danced with us in Spring 2020, their class level placement can be found in your Parent Portal*
3. PLEASE REMEMBER, not all dance studios have the same leveling! If your dancer in transferring from another studio and was previously in a level III class there, that does not necessarily mean they will be a Level III at our studio. Please use the LEVEL FINDER to help you get a better idea of what level they belong in at our studio!
Our classes are developed for dancers seeking a progressive curriculum. Instructor approval is needed to take classes that go beyond Level I. Placement is based on the dancer’s ability to retain and execute the required skills for each level. A student's ability to progress through each level successfully is based on attendance, skill execution, and technical improvement.
