We are actively hiring instructors for our '24-'25 season

Our studio is currently seeking dance Instructors with experience teaching various levels & styles of dance to kids ages 2.5yrs - Adult. We are currently looking for teachers with experience in the following dance styles -Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Preschool/Kinder Combo Classes.  

PART TIME POSITIONS

Positions Available:

ACRO INSTRUCTOR

     -Seeking instructors for our 6 - 18yr old classes. **MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE TRAINING IN GYMNASTICS/ACRO** Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 5-10hrs per week depending on availability

HIP HOP INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for ages 6 - 18 in our Recreational & Company Programs.. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

JAZZ INSTRUCTOR

     -Seeking instructors for our 6 - 18yr old classes in our Recreational & Company Programs. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

BALLET INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for ages 6 - 18 in our Recreational & Company Programs.. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

TAP INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for ages 6 - 18 in our Recreational & Company Programs.. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

MUSICAL THEATRE INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for ages 6 - 18 in our Recreational & Company Programs.. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

CONTEMPORARY INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for ages 9 - 18 in our Recreational & Company Programs.. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

LYRICAL INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for ages 6 - 18 in our Recreational & Company Programs.. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:45pm - 9pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

COMBO CLASS INSTRUCTOR

    -Seeking instructors for our 2.5 - 5yr old Jazz/Tap/Ballet combo classes. Theses classes are held weekdays between the hours of 3:00pm - 6pm.  Teaching hours would vary from 3-5hrs per week depending on availability

Requirements:

-Must be at least 18yrs of age

-Must have a minimum of 3yrs teaching experience

-Late afternoon/Evening availability

-Must be extremely reliable & committed

-Excellent communication skills

-Experience teaching in multiple styles a plus

-Must commit through the entire dance season, ending June 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.

  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers, students & their parents.

  • Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.

  • Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Choreograph routines and select music for recitals.

  • Conduct group and private lessons if requested.

  • Provide a FUN and positive environment.
